SOAR3D-Share Online. Achieve Results

The SOAR3D Approach to Education

Our Mission:

The mission of SOAR3D is to create digital environments where educators have the necessary resources to collaborate effectively and are accountable for the learning of each student.

How is SOAR3D different?

Schools need time and resources to allow for effective collaboration. SOAR3D uses Google Drive to connect teachers and school leaders to one digital location with all the needed tools for analyzing, planning, and sharing.  We provide professional development on how to do all of the following online! :

  • track and analyze student data
  • create common assessments
  • plan for instruction using student assessment results
  • provide interventions and extensions for students
  • create a mission, vision, expectation, and goals for your school and teams
  • manage and organize leadership teams and committees
  • make students accountable for their learning

 Foundations:

1. We believe that all decisions and actions in a school should evolve around a student-focused school mission and vision.

2. We believe that all students can learn with effective collaboration from teachers.

3. We believe that student data should be shared school-wide to increase teacher accountability.

4. We believe that curricular and instructional decisions that are based on student assessment data will maximize student growth.

5. We believe that teachers should make curricular and instructional decisions based on their students' needs.

6. We believe that weekly, formative common assessments rather than few, summative assessments provide teachers with necessary data to determine if students have made progress toward mastering a skill or if interventions are necessary.

7. We believe that sharing instructional strategies and  resources within the schools is essential to continual teacher growth.

All of your Resources in One Location with School Dashboard:

With a Gmail and password, educators can login to a secure Dashboard that includes the tools needed to collaborate effectively. The Dashboard includes the following tools:

Calendar

All school meetings and events in one location. Any teacher can view and add events.

Culture

Establish a school culture by creating and sharing a mission, vision, and expectations. In addition, each team can create and share its own expectations and SMART Goals.

Teacher Café

A community forum where teachers can share instructional strategies and classroom tips and ideas. Teachers can also post questions and receive answers from peers and administrators.

Leadership

Manage leadership teams and committees by organizing members and providing meeting documents. Share meeting minutes and decisions online with the school.

Digital Data Display

Display student common assessment data on one digital wall. Teachers type student results into a secure Google Sheet that instantly updates to the data display for planning and analysis and keeps all teachers accountable for student learning.

Plan and Analyze

Collaborate using the Plan and Analyze documents online. Teachers use a step-by-step document to analyze common assessment results, plan for new assessments, and make instructional decisions based on results.

Student

Interventions

Build a systemic intervention process and database for your school. After collaborating, teachers may enter interventions for students to an online form. The intervention information is saved to a secure Google Sheet where teachers and administrators can efficiently monitor student progress from Kindergarten to 5th grade in one location.

TEKS

Snapshots of the The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) from Lead4ward. Snapshots are aligned vertically by content area for planning and collaboration.
